Introduction
Semkdee is originally known as Yusuf Abed, he is a Ugandan musician based in South Africa.
Semkdee is a performing artist that is currently in Uganda, where he is doing constant promoting and tour to get his music deep down to the people.
He has in the past performed in various African countries including his home country Uganda where he in 2003 New Year’s Eve performed to entertain an audience of more than 100,000 people.
He has also performed in Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, France, and Canada among others. Through these performances and tours, has attained a lot of experience in crowd and stage presentation.
Apart from his main Reggae music style, SemKDee also does Afro beat songs in Luganda and English. Most of the messages in his songs are about hope and hard work. According to Semkdee , music is not a job but rather passion that has always driven him to singing since his childhood.
Semkdee writes all his songs and tries audio production, acting and story writing.
He has written a number of books, one of which being “Al noor" literally meaning “The light" which talks about Islam religion in the world now.
Semkdee is a married man with two kids, a boy and a girl, he enjoys moving out with his family to pass time, so that his kids can have the parental love experience that he never got chance to access as a child.
Recently, Semkdee released a new Tradition beat single titled Mata buta song was recorded from Tevo records by legendary hit producer Ken Lubwama.
He will be working on Mata buta video shooting soon.

MUSICALLY
According to him,"I started music from childhood" he says, and for sure given his vocal and lyrics,this can be felt by even a one year old chap especially when he performs live on stage.
